Update! Lots of distance covered, but no position changes

A few updates to add; cacher dafffy placed greedygreenfrog's Greedy Green Frog into this cache, making the little amphibian the first entry in the 2009/2010 EmCache Travel Bug Race to visit Italy, and adding 700.9 miles to it's distance covered.

Two entries retrieved were ITCHYthirdEYE's SPANK, the monkey TB, collected by cachers the_roys and Mrs. Web Rat's GC which was picked up by cacher lauraxstevenson.

Beating all three of these entries was niknrich's EmCache Racer: Nosey Pup TB which cacher Norfolkbirder both dropped and retrieved from this Norfolk cache, adding another 4449 miles to Nosey pup's walkies!

Finally, just yesterday JohnnyBGoode's You want fries with that? TB was left in this sleepy TB Hotel.

No updates for a few days

I'm off to Disneyland Paris with partner Joanne and our 5-year daughter Eleanor for an internet-free holiday, so all updates are on hold until next week. I'll catch everything up then and finally get around to an updated Counties Visited map and some stats.

South Carolina student cacher DeSeyBulldog has retrieved Sukigoeswandering's From Leicestershire With Love Travel Bug. Now that Suki's and JohnnyBGoode's TBs have separated, which one will travel the furthest? Will either one make it back to the East Midlands?

Update! JACKO keeps on touring

Surrey based cachers MomAndEm have retrieved Garland Gang's JACKO Travel Bug from this cache in Greater London, presumably before r0rschach had a chance to log him in. This adds 12 miles to JACKO's total distance travelled in the 2009/2010 EmCache Travel Bug Race.

Veteran cacher The QM has picked up Garland Gang's LOUIS' VROOM VROOM!! Travel Bug and newbie cacher (with 168 finds in less than 2 months!) arestus has retrieved JohnnyBGoode's You Want Fries With That? TB, but has not apparently picked up Sukigoeswanderings' Bug at the same time.

Update! The Web Rat's GeoCoin back in the UK

Cachers GeoSkrapers have placed The Web Rat's Definitive GeoCoin EmCache Racer in this cache on The Isle of Arran in North Ayrshire, Strathclyde Region, Scotland. This not only adds 456 miles to it's total distance travelled, but additionally gives the coin it's second asterisk, indicating that it has completed it's task of travelling overseas and then returning to the UK.

Update! Race leader has now travelled half The World's circumference

Cacher Norfolkbirder has taken niknrich's Nosey Pup Travel Bug to Trinidad & Tobago, dipping him into firstly this cache and then into this one, bringing Nosey Pup's total distance travelled up to an eye-watering 12105.4 miles. If that isn't enough, Norfolkbirder is threatening to bring Nosey Pup back to the UK and then out to Canada next month!

Meanwhile, oceanblue07970's Pat's Special Delivery TB has been dropped into this cache, adding a much more modest 5.7 miles to his "round".
