Update! Nosey Pup extends it's lead *yawn*

Yes, 2009/2010 EmCache Travel Bug Race leader niknrich's Nosey Pup TB has increased it's race lead again! This time cacher Norfolkbirder has placed Nosey into this event cache organised by the Pup's owners, niknrich, adding 77.1 miles to it's race distance.

Update! Nosey Pup passes 25000 miles raced mark

Cacher Norfolkbirder dipped niknrich's Nosey Pup Travel Bug in this Norfolk cache to mark it's return from Canada, bringing the too-cute canine's total distance travelled to 25974.2 miles!

Update! Nosey Pup extends it's lead (again!)

Cacher lakelady5 placed niknrich's Nosey Pup EmCache Racer Travel Bug into this Canadian cache, from where it was instantly retrieved by Norfolkbirder. The result of this was an addition of 194.9 miles to it's distance travelled, further extending it's already commanding race lead. Expect to see Nosey Pup return to the UK shortly!

Speaking of Canadian caches, Garland Gang's JACKO has stampeded into a Top 10 race position after cachers The Creepy Crawlies placed him into this Calgary cache, adding 4387.9 miles to his distance travelled, and adding the coveted Overseas Travel Asterisk to his milage.

Update! Race leader dropped in Canada

Cacher Norfolkbirder has extended the lead of 2009/2010 EmCache Travel Bug Race leader niknrich's Nosey Pup by another 4541.5 miles after placing it in this Canadian cache, from where it was quickly retrieved by Cache Owner lakelady5, which adds anothor dimension to the race. Should I add a third asterisk to Nosey Pup's milage to signify that it has travelled abroad, returned to the UK, and then gone overseas again? Will Nosey Pup make it home to the East Midlands in time for the end of the race??

In other news, Mrs Web Rat's GeoCoin was retrieved almost immediately from the cache that it was placed in on Saturday, by cacher Pio Clan who is planning to take it to the U.S.A.

Update! Lots of distance covered, but no position changes

A few updates to add; cacher dafffy placed greedygreenfrog's Greedy Green Frog into this cache, making the little amphibian the first entry in the 2009/2010 EmCache Travel Bug Race to visit Italy, and adding 700.9 miles to it's distance covered.

Two entries retrieved were ITCHYthirdEYE's SPANK, the monkey TB, collected by cachers the_roys and Mrs. Web Rat's GC which was picked up by cacher lauraxstevenson.

Beating all three of these entries was niknrich's EmCache Racer: Nosey Pup TB which cacher Norfolkbirder both dropped and retrieved from this Norfolk cache, adding another 4449 miles to Nosey pup's walkies!

Finally, just yesterday JohnnyBGoode's You want fries with that? TB was left in this sleepy TB Hotel.

Update! Race leader has now travelled half The World's circumference

Cacher Norfolkbirder has taken niknrich's Nosey Pup Travel Bug to Trinidad & Tobago, dipping him into firstly this cache and then into this one, bringing Nosey Pup's total distance travelled up to an eye-watering 12105.4 miles. If that isn't enough, Norfolkbirder is threatening to bring Nosey Pup back to the UK and then out to Canada next month!

Meanwhile, oceanblue07970's Pat's Special Delivery TB has been dropped into this cache, adding a much more modest 5.7 miles to his "round".

Update! It's all-action Monday!

Lots of updates today; firstly German cacher jule83 has logged that he retrieved greedygreenfrog's Greedy Green Frog Adventure Guide two weeks ago from the German TB hotel that it was resting in.

Secondly, cacher Norfolkbirder has retrieved race leader niknrich's Nosey Pup Travel Bug from the Lincolnshire event cache that he placed it into.

After these two retrievals it's time to list the drops; cachers stacey + chase have placed Geohunter-X's Horsey Neigh Neigh into an unpublished new cache in Hilton, Derbyshire (possible FTF for The Web Rat?) adding 102.3 miles to it's total distance travelled which puts it into the lead of the TB race entries that have only travelled within the United Kingdom.

Next is lgxkls' Karon's Promise TB which has been placed into this cache in Herefordshire, adding 112.1 miles to it's distance travelled.

Finally, Garland Gang's JACKO Travel Bug has been placed in this puzzle cache in Swindon, adding 145.1 miles to it's distance travelled.

Dutch cacher FRLK has placed The Web Rat's EmCache Racer geocoin into this cache halfway between Amsterdam and Rotterdam, adding 67.3 miles to it's total distance travelled.

Meanwhile, Norfolkbirder placed current race leader niknrich's Nosey Pup Travel Bug into this interesting event cache in Lincolnshire, extending the pup's already impressive race lead by another 20.9 miles.

Norfolkbirder has retaken possession of niknrich's Nosey Pup Travel Bug and is suggesting that he may take it to Trinidad and Tobago. I wonder if he may be persuaded to consider leaving it there? ;-)

Cacher Norfolkbirder has placed EmCache Travel Bug Race leader niknrich's Nosey Pup TB in this event cache in Lincolnshire, lengthening it's lead by 67.9 miles.

Ghost Rockers have dropped former race leader Rascalgaskells' EmCache Racer - Cachehopper Travel Bug into this popular cache in Derbyshire, adding 34.6 miles to it's total distance travelled.

Meanwhile current race leader niknrich's EmCache Racer: Nosey Pup Travel Bug has been retrieved by Norfolkbirder from the Event Cache that he placed it into and The Web Rat's EmCache Racer Geocoin has been picked up by Dutch cachers 4 steentjes.

Cacher Norfolkbirder has, after returning from his American (GPS) Adventure, placed niknrich's EMcache Racer: Nosey Pup TB into this event cache in Northampton, adding sufficient milage to easily put Nosey Pup into the lead of the 2009/2010 EmCache TB Race, and adding a second asterisk to it's total milage travelled.

Niknrich's EMcache Racer: Nosey Pup Travel Bug has bounded up the rankings in the 2009/2010 EmCache TB Race after Norfolkbirder dipped him into this GPS Adventures Exhibit and then this traditional cache adding 3614.6 miles (and the coveted overseas travel asterisk) to his total distance travelled, and is now intending to place him into an Event Cache in the UK shortly.

On Saturday cacher Dave_S picked-up Garland Gang's JACKO TB from Bel-Vue, exactly 2 months after it had been left there. On Sunday cacher Norfolkbirder lead niknrich's Nosey Pup TB away from an event cache (and is considering letting him off the lead in the U.S.A.!), and on Monday cacher YellowNinja retrieved current race leader Itchys' Crown Jewels TB from a cache in South-East Wales.
