Mrs. Web Rat's Definitive GeoCoin has been retrieved from Hawaii by Italian cacher bernardi, who claims that the coin is back in Europe. Speaking of Mrs. Web Rat, hubby Tim has changed his GC.Com i.d. to The-Black-Angel, hence his entry in the 2009/2010 EmCache Travel Bug Race is now known as The-Black-Angel's emCache Racer.
Garland Gang's LOUIS' VROOM VROOM!! TB has been placed into this Cheshire cache, adding 3½ miles to it's distance travelled.
Lucky Lottie's Holiday Bug TB has been placed into this Danish cache, adding 88.2 miles to it's distance travelled.
Finally, lgxkls' John's stegasaurus has been picked-up from the cache that it was resting in by Home-Counties based cacher connie159.

Cacher Walker Dan has placed The Web Rat's Geocoin into this cache, adding a new county, Northumberland, to the map of counties visited by entries in the 2009/2010 EmCache TB Race, and also adding 128.6 miles to it's distance travelled.

A second entry placed in a cache is Garland Gang's LOUIS' VROOM VROOM!!, which is now in this Cheshire cache, having added 23.5 miles to it's distance Vroomed, sufficient to pass lgxkls' John's stegasaurus in the overall race placings.

Finally for now, uk89camaro has marked his German Geocoin as missing, before it has even logged a mile travelled.

Update! A distance reduction!

Cachers natterjacktoad have logged RascalGaskells' Cachehopper Travel Bug as found in this popular Derbyshire cache, and upon investigation it seems that cacher Dogmatix accidently logged Cachehopper into the wrong cache. I've corrected the milage, meaning a 2.6 mile reduction in it's total distance travelled.

In other news, North-Western cacher The Magna Defender has retrieved Garland Gang's LOUIS' VROOM VROOM!! TB from the Lancashire cache that it had been resting in for the last 6 days.

Update! Good news for Garland Gang, great news for OceanBlue!

Good news for Garland Gang, as both of their entries in the 2009 / 2010 EmCache TB Race have been retrieved; JACKO by Kent-based cacher tony_c and, after an interminable 5 months in the same cache, LOUIS' VROOM VROOM!! by Leeds-based cacher Budlaw.

Great news for oceanblue07970 as her TB, Pat's Special delivery, believed lost, has been picked up by Scottish cacher N.I.B.

In fact, it turns out that Pat was never lost at all. A well-respected cacher recorded a DNF on the cache that Pat was in and so the Cache Owner assumed that the cache had gone missing and posted the TB's enclosed as missing, when in fact the cache was still present and has had 6 finders since it was reported muggled, and at least one of those finders didn't take OceanBlue's Travel Bug because it wasn't logged into that cache, thanks to the Cache Owners posting it as missing!

Update! Emo the Fast Fish moves up the leader board

My own Emo the Fast Fish Travel Bug has been placed into this Shropshire cache, adding sufficient miles to jump him up to 19th= place overall. This leaves just Garland Gang's LOUIS' VROOM VROOM as the only entry in the 2009/2010 EmCache TB Race yet to pass the 100 miles travelled mark.

Random stats no.26; Hanging Around

With the rescue of oceanblue07970's Pat's Special Delivery Travel Bug, the new champion of dawdling Emcache Racers is geopirate4's EmCache Racer GeoCoin which has been in Sutton Bridge Nene Estuary West Wander # 3 Final for 87 days.

Second longest lingerer is Garland Gang's EmCache Racer LOUIS' VROOM VROOM!! Travel Bug, resting in Random Dog Walk 1 for 67 days.

Third on the list is Garland Gang's other entry, EmCache Racer JACKO Travel Bug, enjoying the view in Bel-Vue for 56 days.

Random stats no.25: Hanging Around

After yesterday's update of which cachers are holding entries in the 2009-2010 EmCache TB Race, here's a list of the three entries that have been marooned for the longest;

First is oceanblue07970's EmCache TB Racer - Pat's Special Delivery, which has been stuck in this traditional cache for an interminable 109 days and counting.

Second longest lingerer is Geopirate4's Definitive GeoCoin, which hasn't budged from this multi-cache for 75 days.

Third on the loiterers' list is Garland Gang's LOUIS' VROOM VROOM!!, which has spent 55 days in this West Yorkshire multi-cache.

Garland Gang's EMCACHE RACER LOUIS' VROOM VROOM!! has moved up one place in the EmCache TB race by adding 7.4 miles to it's toal distance travelled, thanks to maxkim placing it in this multi-cache in West Yorkshire.

Update! New Race Leader!!

Greedygreenfrog's Greedy Green Frog EmCache Racer has been dropped into this cache in Wuppertal, Germany, adding 1775.6 miles to become the first EmCache TB race entry to pass the 3000 miles travelled mark. This gives greedygreenfrog the race lead on distance travelled, although the TB now down in second place has completed the requirement to return to the UK after travelling abroad.

In other news, both Garland Gang's EMCACHE RACER LOUIS' VROOM VROOM!! and my own EmCache Racer - Emo The Fast Fish have been collected from the caches that they were resting in, and niknrich have finally retrieved EMcache Racer: Nosey Pup from the EmCache September Event Cache.
